The Department of Community Mid-Wife at Al-Shifa Institute is dedicated to preparing competent, compassionate and skilled midwives who provide high-quality maternal, newborn and community health services.

Students receive comprehensive training in antenatal care, safe delivery, postnatal care, newborn resuscitation, family planning, and community health education with a strong focus on clinical skills, ethics and patient-centered care.

With strong clinical linkages and experienced faculty, graduates are prepared to serve in hospitals, community health centers and rural settings across Pakistan.
